Located half way between Denver, Colorado and Kansas City, Ks along I-70 you will find Russell, Kansas. Russell is also the intersecting route of U.S. 281 that runs north and south vs. I-70 that runs east and west. Consequently, it is in the middle of EVERYWHERE! Russell is the administrative county seat of Russell County managed through a mayor, council and city manager process. Russell Regional Hospital, a regional airport, and all conveniences including a grocery store, mechanics, body shop, eateries, movie theater, art museums, hotels, convenience stores, eye care, dental care, salon-spa services, chiropractic and retail options are available. The City of Russell provides electricity, recycling services, trash removal, waste water management, and water production/distribution.
