Osborne is located just north of the North American Geodetic Center and just south of the center of the United States. Located at the junction of US Highways 24 and 281, this allows easy access for travel in any direction. The City of Osborne owns and operates its own power plant to maximize peak cost savings, and as a result provides emergency back-up and self-sustaining power for the entire City during outages.
